A Thoughtful Stable Design

The beautiful stables at Martin’s Farm Livery have been designed to ensure that the comfort and security of your horse is paramount. They are built from solid brick and have excellent ventilation and drainage, as well as all the up to date security and safety measures needed to create the best environment for your horse.

Horse enthusiasts know the value of good air quality, and therefore our stables are designed with sufficient light and adequate air circulation and ventilation to avoid any discomfort to your horse. Additionally, since your horse will spend some of it’s time inside their stall; the entire livery stables are well padded with brand new thick stable mats. These mats have been designed to improve the quality of the flooring and so provide cushioning to the feet and legs of your horse.

We also have hay bars installed in all our stalls as standard, in order to encourage a natural feeding position. The stables have grilled windows for added security, and many have a double aspect view to make your horse feel at home. Additionally, we have a few double size boxes/stalls to accommodate a horse that needs to recuperate and needs additional space. These stalls can also be used if you have a mare about to foal.
